Fashion Showdown was created by Houston native and New York Fashion Model, Chekesha Johnson, as a means for local designers to showcase their talents, gain expose in the fashion industry, and for one lucky winner a grand prize package. This career changing reward included an all expense paid trip to the big apple for New York Fashion week and a cash prize to start their new collection.
