September is known to be the start of a new fashion calendar where all brands launch their collections for the upcoming year. New York Fashion Week took place a few days back and there is not one moment that made us feel bored. Many high-profile celebrities showed up during the fashion shows that made the event even more interesting. There were quite many great moments that occurred during the show out of which we have gathered the top 6 moments that you can’t miss out from this fashion week.
- Gigi Hadid In Marc Jacobs/Michael Kors/Ralph Lauren:
The beautiful model, Gigi Hadid appeared during the show wearing exceptional brands, like Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and Ralph Lauren. Her best looks were when she appeared in the over-sized upper coat ensemble, velvet and silk suit combo and a pale green cashmere dress where she waved an “Adios” to the crowd while walking.
- Irina Shayk in Oscar De La Renta/Brandon Maxwell:
The fierce lady, Irina Shayk stunned us all by her moments on the runways of Oscar De La Renta and Brandon Maxwell. She wore a cross-neck black ruffle dress with a pair of thin-strap stilettos strutting her way on the runway. For Brandon Maxwell, she effortlessly carried herself in a tomboyish ensemble with a denim shirt and brown trench coat paired up with straight pants.
- Tommy x Zendaya:
When it comes to fashion, Tommy Hilfiger never fails to impress us with his exquisite selection for collaborating with top models. This time, he collaborated with Zendaya and made his New York show become a great success and worthy of watching. His S/S collection for 2020 is all about semi-formal blacks and greys which is perfect according to the upcoming seasons.
- Bella Hadid in Brandon Maxwell/Ralph Lauren:
Just like her sister, Bella Hadid did her part too by turning heads on the runway shows of Ralph Lauren and Brandon Maxwell. Her beautiful shimmery red gown looked too graceful and we just couldn’t stop admiring how effortlessly she carried the ensemble with her blonde hairdo that made it even more attractive. For Brandon Maxwell, she wore a dark green two-piece outfit that got us all drooling over appearance.
- Kate Spade’s Floral Show:
Who would’ve thought that nature would make a fashion show become even more pretty and colorful? Kate Spade surely did her best by choosing a floral theme show where models were seen carrying plant pots; wearing floral printed ensembles.
- Carolina Herrera Polka Dots Collection:
The last but not least, Carolina Herrera’s polka dots ensembles surely had us convinced for trying them out in S/S of 2020. These outfits looked marvelous and we just had to include it in the best moments from NYFW 2019.
All in all, the fashion show turned out to be great and we got to witness some out-of-the-world trends that are surely going to make the S/S of 2020 an exciting one.
